First up, it’s our Kenna!

Tell us your name?

Kenna, short for Kennetha. I have never heard the name anywhere else.

What’s your role?

Service Coordinator

How long have you been at Black Isle Renewables?

Since 17th March 2020. I was working a week when Lockdown was announced!

What did you do before?

I worked in Care supporting people in their own houses.

What kept you sane during 2020’s lockdown?

Having Sara Macdonald (Black Isle Renewable’s Projects Manager) on the other end of the phone.

What keeps you busy outside work?

I have 2 horses. A grey highland called Aurora who’s 22 and a Piebald Cob called Seren who is 6.

And I love to garden.

What is the best part of your job?

The fact that no day is ever the same and the entire team works together to deliver the best service.

What's your favourite (publishable) joke?

I’m useless at jokes as I can never remember them, but my favourite comedy sketch is 4 candles by The Two Ronnies and I loved scotch & Rye (especially Rev I M Jolly).

I used to watch both with my Dad.
