How long have you been at Black Isle Renewables?

Since 1st August 2010

What did you do before?

I designed and serviced heat pump systems for another company

What kept you sane during 2020’s lockdown?

Working alongside a fantastic, loyal team who helped bring us through the craziness!

What keeps you busy outside work?

I work as an audio engineer for musicians, several signed artists and record labels

What is the best part of your job?

Hearing the high praise and seeing the great reviews from happy clients, knowing that we make a difference.

What's your favourite (publishable) joke?

A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse. “But why?” they asked, as they moved off. “because,” he said “I can’t stand chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.”
